Zelda is a great name, though

And each time I see this commercial, I think that yes, this is obviously marketing. But it manages damn well to tell people why Zelda is such a great series. And I guess it does it so well, not because you have an actor which name her daughter after a video game princess. But because Zelda, with the sad exception of the last few episodes, is a great game and it’s filled with the love and the passion of Shigeru Miyamoto. It’s authorial, in a way every game designer should learn; it shows the world of a man through the eyes of his inner child. It’s magical. It really is.

And please, Nintendo, don’t screw Skyward Sword. I need that feeling of wonder again.

You mean Twilight Princess and the Phantom Hourglass? Seriously, did you even play them?

Fucking hipsters.

I have restarted Twilight Princess and it’s quite better than I remembered. But still a lot worse than Link’s Awakening, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, which are the three I loved most.

Phantom Hourglass (and Spirit tracks as well) are unfortunately betraying the main concepts that made Zelda. No exploration at all, dull dungeons, poor puzzles AND a horrible and frustrating way to make you play again and again the same dungeon (a bit better in Spirit Tracks, i reckon).

And no, I’m not a fucking hipster.

Didn’t play Spirits Tracks, but I still think Twilight Princess is one of the best episodes in the series alogn with Ocarina.

Sorry, my previous comment was pretty rude – and have fun replaying TP!
