A few days ago I bought a Nintendo DSi from a local Gamestop retailer. I gave them my old NDS and two games, just to spend less and remove clutter in my home (the complete Dreamcast set and my Nintendo 64 are staring at me with horror).

But when I was home, I realize that the dealer gave me an English DSi. The English plug is completely different from the Italian one, so they put an adaptor inside the box. I went to the shop and I tried to get a compatible battery charger (after all, I wasn’t aware of the fact), but they just said that the NDSi is European and that for now is impossible to get an Italian one. That is obviously a lie, so I wrote to Gamestop client service and Nintendo to complain.

After a week, Gamestop (which is responsible for my problem) hasn’t sent an answer. Nintendo, instead, was pretty kind and decided to send me a new Italian AC adapter, free of charge.

That’s good customer care.

Just one tiny comment to “Unplugged”
